Question for tech-internet geeks

Postby VarsityShop » Wed Dec 10, 2003 2:33 pm

Anyone know where I can view a decent size Peruna logo on line?

(The one where Peruna is running like shown below, but I need a bigger one for art work)

<img src="http://www.unitedwaydallas.org/_images/peruna.gif" alt=" - " />

I need the Peruna logo by itself not as a part of other graphics so I can "copy & paste" it without bringing the other stuff over with it.

Please post a URL where a Peruna logo running horse is alone in the picture.

Thanks for any help.

Why don't you check with the smumustangs.com webbie? Or maybe the Sports Information Office or the Marketing Department. Since you are at the Varsity Shop they might accommodate you.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Hey Varsity Shop, do you have any football or basketball jerseys in youth sizes for sale. I'm loooking for the current version of the jerseys - not prior versions.

Thanks.

Like I said, they just might accommodate you. Think they won't notice the logo on your tent after you get it there anyway? What does it cost to ask. The only other way you are going to get it is by stealing it anyway...so what the hell...ask them.

Just had another thought...Make a deal with Bob (who could probably get a license for it) to silkscreen some T-shirts with a BIG Peruna to sell at the Varsity shop and while you're doing the silk screening, kind of sort of accidently run some canvas through there...and there you go. Cut it out and sew it on to your tent. :shifty:

Cowboy Pony......I do not operate a store, that is just my name on PonyFans.com .

However here are some good sources for SMU clothing.

SMU Spirit Shop

or

The SMU Bookstore - Mockingbird & Central
214-768-2435
http://smu.bkstore.com/default.asp?m=0301

or

SMU Flash Store:
6427 Hillcrest Avenue
Dallas, TX 75205
214-599-9500

or

www.Ebay.com
Under Search put "SMU"

Oops. I made the same mistake Cowboy did. I was thinking Spirit Shop. Bob Sharp would not be happy with me. :o Mia Culpa Bob.

I still think you ought to try someone over in Marketing...if it is for your own personal use they might work with you.

They have a 300 dpi logo available there. You might want to clean it up a bit though, as it seems to be a scan of a sticker. :pinch:

Smoo Power.......

I really appreciate that.

That is what I was looking for.

I knew I had seen that somewhere.

A friend wants to put the Peruna logo on a large custom flag for the BLVD.

Thanks!
