Based on the documentary, and the article I have linked I believe the following were part of the naughty nine:

Ken Andrews
Sherwood Blount
Ron Horowitz
George Owen
William F. Stevens
John S. Appleton
Jack Ryan
Reid Ryan?

I am not sure about Reid Ryan and not sure who the other is, maybe Robert Stewart as Alex Lifeson suggested.

That's what has been reported, that George Wilmot was banned.

Was there a booster named Frank involved as part of the 9? Thanks mustangxc.....looks like we almost have it...
These were all good guys that loved SMU and got caught in al the backlash and would suspect some of these guys just put cash up and maybe weren't personally involved in all that was going on (and maybe just maybe, were thrown out as flotsam and jetsam to appease the NCAA?) .....Since so much time has passed, would it be appropriate to allow them back or their families to have some closure?
After all they didn't murder anyone and were just caught up in what was widely accepted in the day....

( opps just saw Ponyte's thread)
