Don't get me wrong, that's fantastic we have another commitment from an O-Lineman. Let's just hope and pray that Hulsey goes home and eats six times a day. You can also count on Hulsey being a bit shorter than 6'4". Come on coaches, THINK BIG!!!

Probably 6'-4" is with his cleats on. Image
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

What makes you think that his stats are so overstated. Granted recruiting stats typically are, but that is pretty much across the board so when you discount his you have to discount everyone's.
I think we should be happy we have a consensus all-state selection coming in from a great program. Probably has been coached well, so the technique is there and I'm sure he will come in with some additional weight. We need all the depth we can get on the line, so I think this is a time for us to be thankful for what appears to be a good set of recruits instead of taking shots. Just seems like people have to find something negative in everything that occurs these days.

D, trust me i'm the one person who always looks for the positives, and I'm not saying that I'm not grateful for his commitment. It's is just that my knowledge of the offensive in the last six years is far more experienced than yours or most people that are on PonyFans, and when you keep siging recruits of this size it just keeps the plauge that we suffer from now alive and well. I hope the best for Hulsey, I'm just tired of seeing all these recruits who come in small, stay small. There is only so much you can gain in the weight room. An offensive lineman, a successful offensive lineman, has to have natural gerth. Again, I'm exceited that we gained another o-lineman, and I hope Hulsey takes a part in making a difference.
