I saw the JET is in the XFL. Congrats to him. Can you comment on this? Your feelings, his feelings? How does he like it?

For those of you that don't know, the JET is Comet's older brother. He played in the CFL and correct me if I am wrong, but didn't we go to the championship game and win the MVP?

What a talented family.

Joyous, will he play in both XFL and CFL?

I think this is neat. He did well in his first game, didn't he?

I got to see a glimpse of the Jet tonight on NBC. Was watching the LA vs Chicago game and the power failed so they sent the viewers to the Orlando vs San Fran game.

The Jet reminds me of Comet. Similar size, speed, and reliable hands.

Joyous, I would also like to know how he likes the XFL!

SMUPonyFan - as usual you are on "top of things". At first I was very nervous about the XFL because I just wasn't sure. But after watching the first game - it wasn't bad. Jimi's first game was good and the second was great. He's having a ball and liking it. To answer your questions. He did play in the CFL and last season he was with the BC Lions. They did win the Grey Cup Championship game but he wasn't MVP. He wants to do both - the CFL and the XFL.

Bballer - Thanks for your positive comments. He likes it. At first he was a little apprehensive because there were a lot of rumors going around but once those issues were addressed he was happy.

Keep watching - Hopefully SanFrancisco will be the WINNER!!!!!!!

Nice pic of Jet making a tackle (I think) in this week's Sports Illustrated.

Joyous,

Best of luck to him. Good to hear he likes it. I got to see him play also for a second in what Bballer was talking about, but then they went back to the LA game.

Does the CFL or XFL care if he plays both? I think that is interesting.

That was him in the Sports Illustrated. Too bad we couldn't see his face. There's also a nice picture on their webpage on xfl.com after scoring a touchdown.

Some teams in the CFL would not release players to play in the XFL. Jimmy was a free-agent this year so he used it as a bargaining tool. The XFL welcomes it.
