Secondary Coach

DMN is reporting that Henderson will be the secondary coach, Giles will be the d-line coach, Belin still LB's, and Schumann DC. It said that we will use four D coaches and 5 O coaches. This means that we will get a new coach. I wonder who it will be and what position they will coach.

Based off of this years tremendous offense (sarcasm) I think we need a new OC, but that would never happen and also that would do more harm than good. Three OC's in 3 years is not too good, although Kueck might do well in the XFL with Briner.

How exactly did Coach Douglas get the Michigan State gig? He's a great guy, and I wish him well, but it's not like we're cranking out All-America DB's every year. As I recall, our secondary got torched a few times over the last couple of years.

Congratulations to Coach Douglas. He's a great guy.

Why is Coach Cavan not hiring another DE-fensive assistant coach? We need it. TCU is good, but not 62 points good. We need better defense, particularly in the secondary.

any word on who the new offensive coach will be that we are supposed to hire?

What position needs coaching in the offense, besides the whole thing?

How about an offensive coordinator? Seriously, I think the area that needs the most intense coaching is the offensive line. We're thin on the line next season (are we really counting on Townsend Hargis and Sterling Harris?) and they need to step up big if we're going to keep Luker and Page from getting killed. They also need to work on their footwork/quickness if we're going to continue throwing that wide receiver screen pass -- by the time Comet gets the ball, he's staring at the opposing defense's team picture. We need OLinemen who can get outside....

We need a herd of big men. I spoke with an outgoing o-line player this weekend and the topic got around to - Lack of true practice due to lack of big bodies to practise against. WE NEED BIG MENperiod
