SMU Golf Headcover

Anyone know where I can order a large driver headcover?

I have one from a few years ago, but it won't fit over my Nike Sasquatch square headed driver.

I know the driver is ugly as sin, but I hit 80% of fairways with it, so I can't put it away.

Ideas?

I know this sounds silly, but a friend of mine had the same problem, so he had the top/back (logo side) removed and had a seamstress sew a black (or your color) matterial either like spandex or vinyl, that would fit the front of the head, etc. giving him a larger cover. Or you might find similar a cover that fits your monster and see if a seamstress could take the logo patch from the old cover and simply intergreate it into the new cover. Golf is popular with my older friends as it is the only game that the head gets larger as you get older!

I have an idea for you. I have knit headcovers on my sticks including my 460cc driver.
1) Rocket Tour: http://rockettour.com/
2) Kewl Tubes: http://www.kewltubes.com/

I use Rocket Tour covers that match my golf bag. They work great.

If you get knit headcovers in the SMU colors, they would probably look nice. Matched with a SMU Mustang putter cover (they are available in the bookstore) or other swag, you would have a nice kit. If you know a good seamstress, they might even be able add a logo somewhere for you.

I used EmbroirderMe on Mockingbird to put a Pony on my bag. They required permission from SMU but that was not hard to obtain from the marketing dept. It looks really good.

If they did it's worth about twice as much as that Nike driver now.
