NCAA Football 14

I thought this was interesting and I didn't see anyone posted nor do I think alot of people on this site plays video games but I think it's worth noting. See link below:

https://help.ea.com/article/ncaa-footba ... nformation

I think it's important to know that EA doesn't think of us as the minor 5 rather still thinks we are in the big 6 conference. I'm planning on pre ordering the game off origin in support of our new conference. I think it's worthy to note since I imagine recruits and future ones play this game it's nice to have them thinking we are still a major conference.

That's because we are in an AQ league for this season. The AQ goes away after this season

I'll buy this one. I bought the 2012 version and with sports series they really only jump in quality every 2 years. Take it from a Software guy. I may or may not know my stuff. ;)

Even though its just a video game its a way to gain attention by the younger crowds. Being from california I learned first of teams like smu and other non regional schools by playing that game as a kid. So the more attention we get in a game like that cant hurt a bit

You are probably right. I probably got too optimistic but my thought was they didn't have to offer the exclusive package. They could have just kicked it to the side and all that. Who knows... I guess we will see when NCAA football 15 comes out!

Has a team had more than 4 losses and still played in a BCS game? UConn was 8-4 the year they lost to OU 48-20 and didn't score an offensive TD in the game.

If I recall correctly UConn also lost several million dollars because they didn't sell very many of the tickets and hotel rooms that they were obligated to. Be careful what you wish for...

I would be totally and completely OK with SMU losing a couple million on us going to the Fiesta Bowl. Yeah, perfectly fine with that.

Plus for UConn the Fiesta Bowl was right in the middle of Women's Basketball season, so you know, priorities.

Yeah, I'd like to think our fanbase would travel better than UConn's for a BCS game. Also, Dallas may be a little more accessible to BCS bowl sites than Storrs, CT, too.
