What is the deal with Conner Preston? Coming out of high school there was a lot of hype surrounding him. Is he still on the team? EJ has him on the key losses QB chart.

Preston had very little interest from major schools, the hype was surrounding his WRs (3 ended up at USC).

SDSU, SJSU, Colorado, Fresno State, Nevada, and Cincinnati all wanted Preston pretty badly. He was that level of a recruit.

Yes that's right, he was a mid-major level recruit.

Thanks, I should have looked a little harder for the other thread. My overlooking is probably due to my semi-interested skimming on the football board. I have been living on the basketball board as of late.

Little above that - Colorado and Cincy were from major conferences at that time. Even the other programs are some of the better programs in the mid-major conferences.
