Re: Forbes: Most valuable conferences in college sportsreally needs to be broken down into a per school average to have a real understanding of the benefits of conference affiliation. For example the Big 12 really has outstanding revenue because of smaller membership.

Re: Forbes: Most valuable conferences in college sportsOur Bowl Rev. isn't that far behind the P5, we just gotta get our TV Rev. up by winning which adds to fanbase/tv viewership. There is know way the Catholic 7 should have double our TV Rev.

I think this may be our bowl revenue for the last year of the BCS. It will probably drop significantly in the playoff era...

Re: Forbes: Most valuable conferences in college sportsBowl revenue for these minor bowls is actually irrelevant since most all of it is spent on expenses of participating teams. BCS Bowl does provide some funds to be spread among conference after expenses

Re: Forbes: Most valuable conferences in college sportsWhile this data is alarming in how far away we are financially from the P5, I think it shows just how dire a situation it is for the conferences below The American. Thank God we are no longer in CUSA.
