Joeckel's sister was an all american volleyball player at TCU, something to note. Plus its an easier playbook to learn in fort worth over the summer compared to the run n shoot trigonometry employed by june

TCU is on a ledge. Patterson is a defensive coach first and now they are changing to a throw it around offense....Has disaster written all over it unless he gives it time and stays out of the offensive players and coaches faces and more time tying his shoes and hitchin his pants. That offense has to have free reign and throw it anytime anywhere.

Joeckel has shown me absolutely nothing during his time at A&M. He will be underwhelming at TCU.

Hold on there Top Twenty - I don't believe that the WDNWHA committee has weighed in on this one yet...

Glad to see already the "he's not that great, we don't need him" back-pedaling when our QB position is basically a disaster waiting to happen. Can't wait to see who the next unknown-savior is after Burcham gets concussed running the ball off-tackle on 4th and 1 because the offense can't pick up 1 yard on the two prior plays.

He went 14/19 for 190 yards and a passing TD in the first half against Rice last year. That was really the only time he had extended PT and he performed pretty well IMO.

I've heard the WDNWHA committee will release an official statement on Joeckel shortly. Just a guess on my part but I think the fact that he was an Aggie, and was flirting with the froggies was too much to accept.
