My multiple contacts with them were met with smiling and helpful customer service agents who said in effect that the Mustang Club was a separate entity and out of their hands. The Mustang Club did not respond.

Ponysnob. Good idea. Thanks.

I would have raised hell, ponyboy. Like gone down there and ripped into someone in person. That's atrocious for SMU to overcharge and then not refund

that's unacceptable. who did you talk to? yes, technically the MC is a separate entity, but one that the athletic department relies heavily on for financial support. they can lean on them if they want to.

was it last calendar year? if so their books may be closed, but they should if nothing else give you a carry forward "credit" if it was an error on their part.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Not only is it wrong but it is illegal.

Contact the FTC and initiate a complaint. You can do so here: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1

Contact MC and inform them of your pending complaint. That should do the trick.

Ponyboy just count it as a donation for tax purposes and make sure SMU gives you x2 priority points for Bball...

I find it humorous that SMU, or any related entity, would ever, under any circumstances, d*ck over a fan or season ticket holder. Yeah, accidents happen. But when you've got, like, 12 fans, you can't afford to throw beer in their face.

It goes hand-in-hand with the country club atmosphere we try to create...I hope whatever inspiration happened at Moody takes over Ford. THAT was what college athletics should feel like!

It'll be interesting to see the attendance for the home games against our conference opponents.........

PonyBoy - I checked with several people in the MC and no one is aware of your issue. Please contact me at bsutton@smu.edu and we'll get this addressed ASAP.
