Maybe these guys were just trying to make some headway on the $80M that UNT owes the State of Texas.
Back off Warchild seriously.

We will pull a '13 memphis game and get out to a 3-4 score lead early and then shut it down, throw a couple picks, prime time jr fumbles a punt for 6 the other way, and we barely win by 3.

UNT finished #55 last year with a bowl win over UNLV. SMU was #89 and loses its record setting starting QB. Is the optimism due to the close home win over UCF in the last game? I noticed that UCF won seven of its games by a TD or less. On the road, I believe UNT is favored by six.

The optimism is due to ignorance of our road ineptitude.

I really hesitate to make any prediction on the NTSU game other than it will be a tough close game. NTSU lost so many of its top players plus they signed so many JUCOs. I believe their entire defensive front is going to be JUCOs. Never know how that will turn out but generally JUCOs take about 1-4th to 1/2 of a season to acclimate. I'm eager to watch them in Game 1. That's the game that I'm trying to gauge to predict between 4-8 or 5-7

Come on man! I see this game as a 38-10 SMU affair.
