On that note, anyone know when tickets for the other away games are going on sale? I've tried calling the ticket office a couple of times with no luck. Going to the UCF game and would like to go ahead and get tix.

If you requested Baylor tickets, you received them. Check your online account to confirm and email me if there's a problem.

As far as other games go, those are on sale now. Call 214-SMU-GAME. Email me with issues.

Thanks!

Seriously doubt SMU sells its allotment (as usual). What did they send us 2,000? 4,000?

good investments-looks like lowest price ticket is going for over $163 on stubhub. I'm surprised more didn't realize what a hot ticket this would be

I have analyzed the investment for any of you who need advice on how much to pay for a ticket to the Baylor game.

100 - (Baylor points scored - SMU points scored) = max amount of dollars that you should be willing to pay for a ticket to this game.

Thus - if SMU loses by 60, you should only be willing to pay up to $40 for that beat down.

SMU wins by 5 and you should pay at least $105 per ticket.

There is no realistic scenario where you should pay $150.

BTW - the vegas line indicates that you should pay no more than $70 a ticket for this game (SMU+30).

Scalping - what a great idea for your fellow fans. So not only do we have to watch our guys get mauled while watching a program that is where we should be except for friggin Pye - but we have to do it sitting next to a loud obnoxious Baptist who bought his seats from a disloyal pony - making the disloyal pony money and ruining even further a loyalty testing environment for the mustang fan.

Sounds great.

Well, SMU certainly didn't sell its set of tickets for the game. I didn't buy season tickets and I can go into my SMU account to purchase Baylor tickets with no problem.

By the way, I don't think that trying to scalp these on Stub Hub is a good idea. There are over 1,500 tickets available on Stub Hub for the game. So there will probably be a glut of tickets out there.

And at $75 each, you probably can't get more than $140 or so for each of them (they'll be terrible seats). Once you pay Stub Hub the fee and factor in your opportunity cost, it's not worth it. Plus, you would have to mail the tickets. People want downloadable tickets.

Good luck to you scalpers.

The "low cost" for tickets to this game just shows that people would rather watch stuff on TV or do something fun for labor day weekend. Too hot and too much of a hassle. Is college football going to have a tougher time getting people to games?
