This year (2015):

DE Sam Miller - Lots of offers, including K St., Memphis, Houston among others
S Cade Irwin - A direct win over SMU, by the way

And them there is the theft of one of your starting OLs, Sam RIce.

Last year:

Transfer Anthony Wallace - played as a true freshman at Oregon. He had a few offers:

https://rivals.yahoo.com/texas/football ... lace-85198

Caleb Chumley - also had just a few offers:

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/r ... ley-150034

Tee Goree - Colorado offer. Ya, it's only the Pac 10, right?

WR Jalen Adams - had offers from Indiana and Tulsa (AAC)

And for historical reference, you may have heard of a current Dallas COwboy named Lance Dunbar. Again, no AAC offers, simply better:

http://sports.yahoo.com/footballrecruit ... nbar-59427

You win some, we win some, but both of us compete with each other for recruits. It would be ignorant to think that we don't.

On a side note, I can't believe this thread is still on page one of your fan board. I think GMG.com's football page has cycled through 4 pages since I last checked your board.
You're bragging about dunbar when smu has players on half the teams in the NFL?

I was dating a girl on the UNT track team when the student vote for the new stadium was up. They were so worried about it passing that they wouldn't let any athlete leave study hall without voting for it. I knew right then that UNT was ready for primetime.

what about our new university at north Texas state of dallas LAW SCHOOL

OVER 600 APPLICANTS JUST IN THIS ONE FIRST SINGLE YEAR!!!!

http://www.dallasnews.com/news/educatio ... terest.ece

LOOK AT THAT HUH

we are going to be more lower cost!

we are not going to WASTE money on big fancy libraries or librarians or expensive highfaluting faculties we are going to be much more a whole lot less expensive!

we are not just handing money out to people because they get good grades either you need to show some initiative like being poor as well and that will work against SMU for sure

anyone can be successful when you have money, but it takes a whole lot of work to be successful when you are poor and these are the kinds of students that places don't want, but north Texas state of dallas law has found their niche!

poor lawyers to help the poor of dallas be better and more successful poor instead of being downtrodden and unsuccessful poor that is something NO ONE ELSE is doing now or later

look at the numbers out dallas law school is the new storm taking the horizon!

SIX HUNDRED APPLICANTS IN ONE SINGLE YEAR! for MAYBE 140 spots

compare that to the other rich people law schools in Texas

UT 4316 applicants and 308 matriculated

Baylor 4608 / 143

StCL 2062 / 404

St. Marys 1691/ 248

UH 3060 / 212

TWU/TAMU 1735 / 258

TSU 1883 / 185

Texas Tech 1688 / 227

and here is where the FEAR THIS comes in!!!

SMU

EIGHTY NINE YEARS IN EXISTENCE YEARS OLD SINCE FOUNDING

ONLY 2047 for 218

when we are 89 years old we will have like 10,756 applications by then!

PEOPLE WANT THIS LAW SCHOOL HUGE DEMANDS ARE THERE

sanitation engineers, grocery clerks, fry cooks, homeless, people with GEDs, former and future convicts, cobblers, retirees, massage therapist and Cstore clerks.....to you these might just be the people that take your trash, bag your whole foods, prepare your meals, ask your for change, fail to perform in high school, do crimes, make your loafers, stop working after a long career and rub you when you have aches and pains or sell you your beer cigarettes and lotto tickets but for the of dallas at university of north Texas state law school these are our core constituents and they deserve the cheapest legal education they can get to be able to do layering in the future for those that might need an attorney

we will fight you on the field of football and in the lowest levels of the court systems of the nations!!!!

Haha- well done rodrod.

UNT opening a law school really was the dumbest thing that's happened in the Metroplex in awhile. If anything, we should be closing law schools across the state and across the country, not opening new ones. There is zero statistical evidence anywhere to support the notion that DFW needed another law school- SMU and A&M (formerly Wesleyan) are more than enough for the area, especially with the influx of Texas, Baylor, and out-of-state law students from tier one law schools that move to the DFW area after graduation for jobs.
