Glad to see those players still chasing their dreams and repping the Mustang Nation...the greatest QB ever came from the CFL, Warren Moon.

Bo Levi Mitchell completed 19 of 34 passes for 196 yards and no INTs, as Calgary defeated Hamilton 10-7. Bo Levi is now 6-0 as a starter, including last season.

CFL football can be pretty awful in the early weeks, as they have a short training camp, no OTAs
and only two exhibition games.

I believe Bo Levi got at least one snap in the last CFL super bowl. Most successful SMU QB ever?

Chuck Hixon?

Was obviously being facetious, Meredith was greatest although I will point out he never appeared in a super bowl.

Meanwhile Hixon never even played a professional regular season game in any league and really was less successful than Bo Levi.

I took it as who was the best SMU QB. I had assumed your question was facetious

Hixson was drafted and was on an NFL team. Bo did not make it that far. There is a difference in levels

Yes, but when you only make it one year, play in no regular season games, then don't get picked up by another team I don't think I can definitively call that more successful than BLM. Lots of players get drafted in the 13th round and are total busts. Lots of undrafted go to Canada and eventually make it to the NFL.

He could have stayed in the league had he wanted. He probably could have gone to Canada and starred. He chose to get out and make a living. Contracts were not the same then as now and he knew his odds were not good and he had good opportunities in the business world. I saw them both play and I would take Hixson.
