Please, God, no "White Out" this year

I just remembered that the recent "tradition" has been for our first home game to be a white out. Our first home game this year is A&M...that would look like an absolute disaster if our athletic department is stupid enough to go through with that lame-brain idea again this year.

A simple solution would be to make it a "Student Section White Out" or something like that, especially since the home opener is the game they typically turn out in full force for. That way, there can be a nice tight block of it, without making every family and random fan feel like they need to buy a white SMU shirt. AND it won't look [deleted] having only 40% of the stadium in white, because it will just be a student section thing and people will understand that.

Even that looks stupid. A little block of white in a sea of maroon. Just tell SMU fans to show up and wear red, white, or blue. That's not so hard, is it?

Since when, school colors have always been Harvard Red and Yale Blue. Did not start wearing white pants till 1949 or 1950 when we switched from the mole skin pants.
