DALLAS (SMU) - SMU senior Stephon Sanders has been named to the Butkus Award Watch List, the organization announced today. The annual award honors the nation's top linebacker.
Sanders started all 12 games for the Mustangs last season and ranked third on the team in tackles with 86. Sanders registered 13.5 tackles for loss (first on the team), and posted 3.5 sacks.
