Yeah, he will not have a long honeymoon. http://espn.go.com/college-football/sto ... trong-hireAlso has to play UCLA, BYU, Baylor, and OU all before the middle of October. He better come out with both barrels blazing

This sucks, but the horns will be ok. They will play defense. They will be physical. I just hope the horns fans can handle the change in culture.

"If Sanders and Meander are ultimately dismissed from the team, that would mark six players that have been dismissed since Strong took over, joining spring departures Chet Moss and Leroy Scott."

Make that 7. Rumor just in that RB Joe Bergeron dismissed Thursday. That would be 5 in two days....

Strong has an iron fist. I'm liking that he's taking out the trash without blinking

Hope we have the cell phone numbers for a few of these guys....
Louisville was not exactly a bunch of choir boys. This is temporary to change the "culture". They will be back to their old tricks in a year I guarantee.

Bergeron was a heck of a player for Texas. What did you do that got him kicked off the team? He's originally from Mesquite if I'm not mistaken. Maybe another reclamation project here at SMU?
Back off Warchild seriously.

11:35 a.m. update:Â Texas safety Josh Turner has also been dismissed for an undisclosed violation of team rules, according to a source. Turner, a senior from Oklahoma City, played in all 12 games last season and started three. He had 93 tackles during his career and two interceptions.
That's six thus far...
