There are 2 remedies:
1) Sue the Bastards
2) Congressional action to amend Sherman Anti-Trust Act to include an exemption in exchange for fair and reasonable treatment of universities and athletes based on an academic model of amateurism

Otherwise, the ballgame is OVER for SMU at the HIGHEST level no matter how much money you want to pour down the toilet

^^^I asked before, why is the G5 not suing? Do they want to see how it plays out first? Inquiring minds want to know.

First of all, the G5 isn't an entity, so it would have to be an individual school or conference that sues. The G5 is just a moniker.

Second, IMHO, they don't have standing yet - what present harm has actually transpired?

There might be another couple of options:

1. Adjust the rules back to single platoon football which narrows the competitive gap between the haves and the have-nots on the field and reduces costs for the little guy as well.
2. Make athlete admission standards uniform and very tough.

Longshots to be sure, but I'm just spitballin' here.

No. 2 has already been implemented for 2016 Class although I wish they'd go back to the old SAT/ACT floor. -nobody paying attention to the coming academic redshirt rule that is going to sideline a high percentage of freshman.
