Very cool. This movement has really picked up steam. Good to see JJ involved.

Good stuff. Just posted it to Facebook.

Come to think of it, every football coach worth his salt should do this. What football coach worth a darn hasn't had an ice bath? :)

Personally... I want JJ to have a Gatorade bath after his 10th win of the season.
Do that and we are REAL.

We can be relevant.

I would just like to see a single series of posts without an inane comment!

Are people talking monetary pledges to do this? Or is this just another way to feel like one is doing charitable work without having top actually do any charitable work?

It is an awareness thing. If you do not take the challenge you are supposed to donate $100.

Shouldn't you be mad at Jones for choosing to cool off on a hot day instead of donating money?

You're supposed to be mad at him for everything.

The ice bucket challenge is greatness. Even if it is not a fund raiser, making people aware of this disease is a major step.

A good friend of mine was diagnosed with ALS two years ago, and in just that short time, he now has to have help standing and getting off his electric scooter and into a chair. However, his mind is still 100%.

Seeing something like this first hand makes you have such a different look on life.
