Be careful for what you wish for. Yesterday every early arriving fan to the Baylor game were desperately seeking shade under those new saplings planted around their stadium. I love the shade-maybe some strategic pruning would be best-or we could roll out the astro-turf?

And plant St Augustine instead, which is better at handling foot traffic and also does better in shaded areas.

I say nuke them for the view of Dallas Hall as our founders wanted :!:

Is this satire? If not I'm completely shocked.

Zero percent of campus looks like what the founders intended other than Dallas Hall. Have you seen the early campus master plans?

Also I'd rather not totally roast on the Boulevard in the summer. Gimme shade!

For any of you with Blvd spots that want an SMU floor mat for your Blvd tent I just bought one of these. They use the same pic for the various size tailgate mats. The 5x8 is larger than the one shown in the picture.

The aggies are coming in a couple of weeks. Ask them, they are lawn experts.

the trees were there in 1968. maybe 1/2 the size they are now. trees are beautiful and enhance the campus.
