The way the team went into the locker room at halftime said it all - players heads down, coaches heads down, and the crowd packing up to go home.
We are in a bad place. Maybe next week we rebound!

This maybe our worst team since the DP or even before.

We are just burning time until next season when smu football returns (no hope of being competitive next year, but at least we will be on some track)

What makes you think that we will be competitive next year when we are going to probably need 3 or 4 good recruiting classes to get back on track?

looking more and more like we will be winless coming into Homecoming game against USF. I always look forward to coming back to Big D for a visit and have to admit it would really be nice to watch us win our only football game this year...but my primary goal is going to be finding 2 tickets to the basketball opener that Friday night

No SMU fan deserves this. SMU deserves better, the kids deserve better, and Dallas deserves better.

You get what you deserve.

The fans supported June and the program by still buying tickets and welcoming him back (for the most part) after ASU, thus not forcing RGT'$ hand.
SMU crippled itself with restrictions for 20 years, thus not allowing us to be competitive and being relegated to a crap conference.
For the players, sadly, when you play at a level that you're not good enough for, you'll suck. I don't blame them, but I don't feel sorry for them that they don't run 4.40 40's, as much as I wish they did.
And dallas has the worst collection of sports fans in the county. Yes I'm letting LA, who LOST TWO NFL TEAMS IN ONE YEAR, off the hook here. And I love dallas and hate LA everything.

We. Got. What. We. Deserved.

Right now, Ken Pye is cackling from Hell....

SMU Football - We did what we did, and we get what we deserve.

Tulsa is not setting the world on fire. Neither is USF or UCONN. But I still remember that game at Navy with the 40 mph wind and drenching rain. You can get that kind of weather in Hartford in December (except make it snow instead). They probably run the ball better than we do. So, if we're 0-11 going into UConn, it could be dicey.
