There is a reason we picked them for our Homecoming opponent. Best chance for a win this year?

I've got Tulsa on my "we have a chance" list, but it is a road game and after UNT...

33-7, at this rate Tulsa will be looking for a new coach soon.

That one is on the road, we've scored 6 points in our last 13 quarters on the road.

I don't know that our final record will show the difference, but I expect to see a very different team over the next 10 games. We would have struggled against A&M Commerce under JJ this season so I don't know that the stats from the past 5-6 games says much at all.

I expect to see the same team since June's "resignation" didn't net us any better coaches or players. By the time we get through the gauntlet portion of the schedule this team may very well be checked out.

these guys will be playing for their scholarships so if the younger guys want to finish at SMU, I expect them to play hard. I think Coach Mason will give it his best until the bitter end because he is auditioning for a HC position...somewhere
