Just got a post about the Friday Night Stampede in my Facebook feed. Anyone planning on attending this? Is it an attempt to honestly start a new tradition and do they plan on having the football players there?

There was something in the mail about it as well.

I haven't read about it, but I've been told it is a pep rally/lighting ceremony/band hall grand opening event. It sounds interesting and could be the start of a nice tradition if that is what they are trying to do. With so many students living on campus these days they should be building the community like this.

I'm going to try and make it, especially since I'm booked Saturday and can't make the game.
