SMU-Cinc. Attendance: 16,849

Having attended this game in sec. 109 (thanks to a $4.00 offer on Stubhub) there is absolutely, positively no way this number is close to legitimate.

Better guess? 4,500 in the first half, 2,500 after halftime. Sadly, I think Deion's kickoff return to midfield was the play of the game.

seriously I know it is really tickets distributed-but I don't even see how that is remotely possible. Even with season tickets-paid attendance could not have been more than 12,000. I thought at most 7,000 were in seats

Attendance is a bigger problem than a losing season. Maybe we don't deserve to have a team.

That we had 7000 show up to see this humiliating disgrace of of football for the 21st of 25 years is a miracle.

I am not worried about attendance. You can't blame fans for not showing up. We are an embarrassment and no team considered worst FBS draws fans. Attendance will fix once we start beating Big 12 rivals and A&M. And they can't be flukes...

We win big and fans will come. Sounds like the June Jones brainwashing is still having lingering effects.

I am one of the more dedicated fans and could barely stomach today. Almost 4hrs of pain despite a beautiful high 70s sunny day. Just win baby

Agreed. People weren't fooled by 6-31 or whatever the record was vs FBS teams with winning seasons.

I thought it was closer to 10K at start, but dropped throughout the game.

We have great fans. Just not enough of them. Anyone showing up to these
games should be commended.

I think it looked like 10k early but when the last seconds ticked down there was about 8 of us left.

I made it until the 4th down turnover on downs with about 4 minutes left. I really didn't pay attention to how many people were still there, but it was probably in the hundreds.

TCU couldn't even sell out their game against OSU. And I can buy $30 tix for UT football on stub hub. Football is in trouble.
