He left SMU in a mess. He is probably enjoying some ice tea in Hawaii now.

If they are still paying the SOB, big mistake. He should have been forced to coach the team this season to collect his money so he would also have to endure what he has wrought on the SMU fans and his record would adequately reflect how bad of a coach he really is!

SMU2007, rotten vegetables are too good for him. I would dump my dog's poop bag on him!

it really is sad that the guy who briefly gave us hope has probably brought the program to it's lowest point since the death penalty.

Well, if you told the 19 year old version of me while I'm having a blast at the 2009 Hawaii Bowl that we would be this terrible in 2014, I would have laughed In your face and pointed out that KP is throwing on pace for 500 yards passing. I then would have told you June is going to get SMU to TCU status and by 2014 we would be ranked pre season. I would not have realized we would only have a couple more games like that in the next 5 years.

I know that June hung it up after ASU, but how does a team go from 5-7 to 0-12? We went from one game below .500 to absolutely terrible in a year!

Well he didn't recruit for multiple years in a row. So it wasn't really "terrible in a year". This was a long time coming

Losing your starting QB and having to rely on your 4th string walk-on QB this year certainly doesn't help

Well you don't go from 1st string to 4th. We went through the backup and 3rd string and only one QB is from Texas. What a joke...

Well #2 and #3 are still available so that excuse does not work too well.

Matt Davis and the fastest kid on the team should run the wildcat.

Cassel is not good. We should never have wasted a scholarship on him. He had an under 50% completion rate in high school I believe.
