Weak conference relative to P5s. Much Stronger than other G5s.

Norm is painful to listen too.

His dad humor is awful.

His only value to the Ticket are his drops(sound bytes taken out of context,
played at will by the board Op of all the shows).
fortunately for the Ticket, there isn't anything worth listening to from the competition at that time of day.

Ive listened for the better part of 30 years, and he needs to retire.

He's typically the only guy who ever even mentions SMU locally and didnt he have Bennett on a lot when he was coach?

I don't know about Bennet years, I was in a fog.

but he has regularly had LB on since being at SMU, so there is that.

I don't hate the guy, but these days I only listen to him for the train wrecks.

I didn't realize Norm was even alive or anyone even listened to him anymore. I never listened years ago except to confirm my beliefs that in radio, there is work for anyone who can talk...doesn't have to make sense but if you can rattle off jibberish for hours upon end then there are people who will listen.

Yes but Norm is obese and sits for a living whereas or basketball coach is fit and stands and yells for a living
"I think Couchem is right."

Mrydel, if we indeed drop $30m+ on our next coaching staff, I think we immediately are in the discussion as one of the top G5 programs, somewhat regardless of our performance on the field over the next couple of years.

We are located in the best TV market, in arguably the best football state, we have solid academics, good facilities and most importantly, a financial commitment that can only be matched by a couple of other G5 schools.

Bad attendance?, that gets solved by better opponents in a new conference as well as a dedicated marketing program which we will have now proven we are willing to spend the money needed if necessary.

could we at least win a few games in our current conference (or ANYWHERE) before we start talking about our NEW conference.
