New AAC vs Sun Belt Bowl in 2015

Postby Planter's Punch » Fri Oct 24, 2014 10:40 am

"Orlando's Citrus Bowl added a third bowl game in April, announcing the creation of the Cure Bowl starting in 2015. More details about the future game, which will feature teams from the American Athletic Conference and the Sun Belt, were announced this week.

The AutoNation Cure Bowl will be held on Dec. 19, 2015 and broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The net proceeds from the game will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation."

AAC has more bowls than it has teams to fill them. So Orlando has 3 Bowls huh. The Miami area might have 4. Can't really complain about the locations of the Bowls-heck next year the AAC has 4 Bowl games in Florida and another in Hawaii

Birmingham Bowl
Birmingham, Ala. – vs. SEC

Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl
St. Petersburg, Fla. – vs. Conference USA

Miami Beach Bowl
Miami, Fla. – vs. Conference USA

Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman
Annapolis, Md. – vs. ACC

Sheraton Hawaii Bowl
Honolulu, Hawaii – vs. Mountain West

Boca Raton Bowl
Boca Raton, Fla. – vs. MAC

Cure Bowl
Orlando, Fla. – vs. Sun Belt

We add Navy next season, and I believe BYU is now in the Miami bowl over CUSA...
