Hard to believe that Notre Dame is one of the lowest paying FBS gigs. That means Cincy is paying Tuberville almost a million more than the guy he replaced.

Didn't he voluntarily reduce his salary as a self punishment for that staff death?

6th highest paid position at a private institution and No. 1 best paid position for a school with 10,000 fans. Thanks Circle of Champions for caring when so few SMU fans do. Could you front another 18 Million for 6 years until SMU gets to 10 wins and we can expect the rest of our fans to give a [deleted]

They may compensate him separately through a coach's show and/or endorsement deal.

10 wins still won't matter because we've already seen previews of the future excuses, on this board: The conference sucks, only care about old SWC foes, who wants to see UConn, Temple, blah, blah, blah. Outside of the 1500, SMU fans really are the worst.

Outside the 1500, they really don't qualify as "fans".... maybe acquaintances?

I'm sure their fans do.

Florida State is 10-0. Besides their fans, who cares about that?

Marshall is ranked in the top 25 so they are getting respect for beating everyone on their schedule even though they might not be capable of beating anyone else in the top 25...and they have very loyal and supportive fans and have for years

Only the team's fans care you dummy. Who cares that TCU and Baylor are 9-1 or whatever? Only their fans. Next!
