It's too expensive to make a difference. 1 beer at Ford costs the same as a pitcher in Milo's.

Lots of posters on here made the claim that selling beer in Ford would help with attendance.

This year is an anomaly. They could give away beer for free and you still couldn't get people to watch this team. I don't think anyone ever said that selling beer would solve our attendance problems, just that it would help.

I go to the games regardless, but to the casual fan I'm sure its a nice addition (as it is for me too).

As for the Milo's comment and the price of beer: I don't think $8 for a 16 oz beer is that bad for a sporting venue. Adding beer/wine was never meant to compete with the local bars, but instead be an amenity for the people who go.

I will say suffering through the first half of USF-SMU...beer made it better.

Does anyone know the points associated with scanning tickets?

I hear people all the time saying they need to get their tickets scanned but how many points is that actually and is it worth it to get them scanned if you know you can't attend and nobody wants to go?

I believe it is one point per ticket.

Folks should get extra points for this season; kinda like hazard pay for the emotional abuse

Beer can only help so much. This team is well beyond beer. Heavy Hallucinogens are needed to watch this team.

Which I believe is the equivalent of $100 donated, correct?

Do you get extra points for away games attended. Seems you should.

This is probably as hopeless a season as I can ever remember for SMU football. Only thing we have to look forward to is the announcement of a new coach.

JJ's coaching legacy is forever cemented. I can't imagine anyone foolish enough to hire that guy and give him another chance. He deserves this
