I'm 99% on board with CM, except in the back of my mind I can't shake the thought of the last highly regarded coordinator we hired as head coach - that was an Aggie.

Dodge never coached in college before he got the UNT job. Dodge was like Faust was at ND. Morris would be more like Dan Mullen or Mark Helfrich.

Let's hope so. Bob Stoops at OU was also an assistant at Florida

I am only going to believe this when it's confirmed. We have all seen this play out before.

Not done until it's actually done and he's on the sidelines. The twitter world and sources mean nothing yet.

I'll believe it when he sells/buys his house, moves into his office, and hires assistants

Cox, you have been a fan long enough to know - hard not to be skeptical.

Sadly, I do. I've only been a fan for a few years so I haven't quite yet developed that Pony view of the World.

Please don't compare Morris to PB. PB only did well briefly at one stop-K-State.

Perhaps our enthusiasm and confidence in a new future with soar when Coach Morris runs into Gerald J. Ford Stadium with his Mustangs ... next Sept 5th to take on the Baylor Bears?

So a press conference with him there won't do it for you?
