Wow - there are going to be some potentially dynamic offenses in the American West.

Good news, bad news

Good news for the Cougars and the AAC, which adds another quality HC.

Bad news for Western Division of the AAC and the other Texas-based AAC school.

Tom Herman is an excellent choice for the Cougars and will compete for recruits and the Western Division Championship.

Good hire for the Cougs. AAC needs to step up and get 2-3 teams in the top 25 in the next few years (SMU of course being one of them). This helps.

2015 will be another very long season for our defense.

I guess in 3-4 years we will know which school made the better hire, and if we should have gone with Herman instead.

To be fair, in theory we already were but you just couldn't tell since JJ never left the golf course. I'm not worried about going toe-to-toe with the 7-11 training center for recruits with Coach Morris & Co. working on it.

It's Houston. If we can't beat them, we should shut it down. We should kill them in recruiting every year and on the field also of course.

He's not the only one we're going to have a problem handling.

I think its one of those overlooked positive signs for the AAC that the top coordinators in the game have confidence in the league. Morris, Herman, Montgomery, Fuente are going to be fun to watch

Yes, the league will be a good training ground for young coaches with P5 ambitions.
