that's a great life-line for Applewhite's career which was fading. Now he can attempt to rescue his career with a young up and comer without ties to the UT offensive debacle

Yes, any moron can look up stats (not calling you one, just saying). And I'm happy you are proud of your alma mater's football success against SMU.

My standard for my alma mater is much higher. We should be a top 10 recognizable college sports brand and be competing for national championships in revenue sports. Stanford is my standard. UH isn't really relevant. Just my opinion/perspective.

I don't see Morris leaving for any job outside of the Southwest. Herman, like Sumlin, probably has a greater range of places he'd go. Hopefully both become successful enough that we go as a package deal to the Pac 12 or ACC.

lol calm down, did u forget that we're currently the worst fb team in FBS. and we wonder why others perceive SMU as snobbish and elitist

This.

SMU and Houston are attractive as a Texas package deal to the Pac 12, ACC or B1G. Separately, as much as I hate to say it, UH is more likely to get the call first.

The only school in this state that those conferences want is UT-Austin.
