The university has not announced any of the assistant coaches officially being hired — HR protocol, paperwork, etc.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Thanks for posting. I think Bill Young is the most significant hire - has the most work cut out for him (other than HCCM of course) in terms of pure coaching and we'll need his experience big time.

Keith Gunn, assistant coach, second year?????

Offensive quality control coordinator & Recruiting Analyst from the June regime.

WOW, hope Morris has vetted this guy and he doesn't count against the actual coaching total.

Is Bobby Reid the same guy who was the likeable and highly recruited young man out of high school in the Houston area who signed with Oklahoma State and who Gundy had his famous rant over words written in the Daily Oklahoman?

Hey very strong catch in traffic. Reid had just been hired by Oklahoma St in 2013. Former Houston Touchdown Club winner from Galena Park -should have a bunch of great contacts in Houston. See his Wikipedia page for resume. (for some reason, page won't let me post a good link-but you can do a search for it)

Eric Henderson the final graduate assistant who we haven't talked about yet might be a former Georgia Tech DE who had a cup of coffee in NFL? I think its the same guy who was on staff also at Oklahoma St

We've already discussed the first guy who came from Clemson
