Posted: Sun Jun 24, 2001 4:56 pmThe reports are that we get a guaranteed $600K from this game. Is there an additional (albeit unguaranteed) portion of the ticket sales, concessions, parking, etc., also headed into the SMU athletic coffers?
Also, I'm wondering if that $600K is before or after expenses. With travel, lodging, food, and whatever other expenses that go into a road game, I can't imagine roadtrips are cheap. Does anyone know what it costs to take a team on the road, and how much (if any) of a dent that will put in the payout from the game with KState?
