Chad Pursley (6-5, 260)

All of these guys are former HS basketball players, right? Isn't that the in vogue way of discovering tight ends (Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham, etc.)?

Gaines is proven as a big receiving target, Lawler is a former HS big WR type looking at his film, and Pursley is a quick HS OL who should fit well at TE. I can easily see how they fit his offense as big targets and how the last two project well as blockers.

This probably means Prescott Line stays at RB as a short yardage back where many thought he might be a FB as this offense really goes 3WR and a TE. As an outsider I do think that Line (and the rest of the RB's as well) is better than the board gives credit for. He isn't a breakaway threat but as a one cut runner with good blocking and hands he's solid. Iowa State had a guy like him and he was a good role guy in the rotation. Since Morris likes speedy RB's it will be interesting to see if the surplus of quick little slot guys shifts one over to RB or of they go to DB.
