Here is one of my thrift store finds, which predates Macklemore by a few years, but I don't know of its legit. Maybe a long time fan (nice way to say old) can chime in but I am fairly certain it is 80's era.

Standing one goes back to 60s. I remember buying a car decal of it at the bookstore in 1966.

Matter of fact right before the SMU-Baylor gm. 24-22. Yeah!!!

This one would be great on sort of a vintage style shirt IMO, would buy.

I hated those - That was a Copeland thing wasn't it?

I really think that they thought that changing the logo (like changing uniforms & beer sales) will increase attendance. Only WINNING increases attendance!!!

Gameday Cloth sold a light blue, long-sleeve with this on the front. I own.

I don't like the "pony pony" logo where you see the rib cage of the pony. It's like we're underfed, undersized, underwhatever...

Ha, as opposed to bloated, spoiled and soft. I have heard SMU fans discribed that way many times. Well, maybe not bloated, but definitely the latter two. Stereotypes are so hard to overcome.
