I went to our last game at Annapolis and highly recommend this gameday experience. The Brigade of Midshipmen makes a tremendous impression, when they march onto the field.

Besides, we need to pay Navy back on that day's loss. JJ was out coached.

Homecoming or parents? I would think parents, that's awfully early for homecoming.

Only 1 bye week this year (compared to 3 last season). Might be good for rest and recovery but makes for a boring weekend. :)

Crazy early, but it's apparently going to be Homecoming per SMU leadership. Could be a little on the warm side, all the more reason to start hydrating early on the Boulevard.

Academic calendar lists 2015 parents at this date and homecoming for weekend of 11/6. Interesting if they change it, would make no sense...

Homecoming + basketball season opener was legit this year.

We'll see what happens, but definitely agree with you on the Homecoming + hoops, was a great time. Think we are trying to schedule a FCS opponent for the TBD.

9/26 is homecoming, likely against an FCS school from the chatter I've heard. All part of the big Centennial weekend they're going to do.

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU today announced its highly-anticipated 2015 football schedule, the first season under new Head Coach Chad Morris. The slate is highlighted by seven games on the SMU campus, including Ford Stadium match-ups with in-state rivals Baylor and UNT. Other 2015 visitors to Ford Stadium will include American Athletic Conference foes East Carolina, Tulsa, Temple and Tulane.

SMU opens the season on Friday, Sept. 4, when the Mustangs host Baylor in an ESPN- or ESPNU-televised game. The following Saturday, SMU hosts UNT on Sept. 12 before a Sept. 19 game at TCU in the annual Battle for the Iron Skillet.

SMU will host its Centennial Celebration and Homecoming on Sept. 26 against an opponent to be determined and will be home again on Oct. 3 to host East Carolina.

SMU will then travel to Houston for its second weeknight game of the season, a Thursday-night, ESPN2-televised game against the Cougars on Oct. 8. After an open date, SMU hits the road again, this time traveling to Tampa to take on the USF Bulls on Oct. 24.

The "Boo-levard" returns in 2015, as SMU will host a home game on Halloween, Oct. 31, when Tulsa comes to Dallas. The match-up with the Golden Hurricane will also serve as Family Weekend.

SMU then hosts its second Friday-night game of the year on Nov. 6 when Temple comes to Ford Stadium for an ESPN2- or ESPNU-televised game. A trip to Annapolis, Md., for a CBS Sports-televised battle with Navy comes on Nov. 14 before SMU hosts Tulane for Senior Day on Nov. 21. The Mustangs close the regular season on Nov. 28 with a trip to Memphis. The inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 5.
