Has to be shock and awe for these guys after the JJ coaching philosophy

I always loved June's final lockerroom speeches before a game or at halftime. Usually something like this:

"Ok, play for each other, play to the last whistle, and never forget we are undefeated so far this season at home in conference..." except it's like he's reading a grocery list and has marbles in his mouth and it's the first conference game of the season.

What I really liked from the video was that kids were competing. Not just running sprints or pushing sleds. The tug of war with the weights and rope... Awesome.

Does anyone know who is pushing this media blitz? Videos like this could have been produced when JJ was here (OK, not Peruna drinking Red Bull. JJ would actually have to leave the golf course to do that). Is this Morris or Hart? I love it either way, just wondering if we are seeing the next evolution of Rick Hart or is this a piece of the Morris sales machine.

The hired a marketing person about (1?) year ago. Hart knows that we need to promote our programs.

Frankly, one of the reasons Morris was hired is promotion. Unlike June, who killed fan excitement like a baby seal, Morris is a born salesman and doesn't hesitate to sell SMU. (While he probably has issues, he knows to keep the in-house and out of the DMN).

Probably means taking the season week by week. They want to go 1-0 in week 1, 1-0 in week 2, etc.
