Who in the [deleted] cares about what he's done in the past. We can hold two different thoughts in our head at same time. He's being an ass-clown for scheduling teams like Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian et al when his team was just excluded from the NCAA playoffs because his team had the weakest schedule in the mix. He was excluded BECAUSE of last year's schedule-make no mistake about it. Everybody will dog-pile him again this year especially if he is in the playoff mix -despite your standards for dog-piling

I would say having such a creampuff schedule that your team (who won the outright big 12 championship) got passed over for the 4 team playoff is a pretty big issue - and worthy of criticism. That he just did it again makes him worthy of disdain. Incarnate Word? Really?

I would add that handing over OC duties to your unqualified son, resulting in Baylor performing an epic choke (thereby proving the bowl committee correct), is also a discussion item for criticism.

....and your favorite TCU team got left out as well. It's more about the ass-clowns running the Big 12 and their refusal to have a championship game, all the while touting their stupid 'One True Champion' nonsense. Bowlsby's refusal to acknowledge the head-to-head winner as a tie-breaker was another genius move. These are their problems, more than TCU or Baylor's weak non-con schedules. Add the little church school problem and the powers that be will choose the big schools from the championship conferences every time.

the Big XII didn't have a team deserving of playing in a 4 team playoff this year...plain and simple. Those who complained about Ohio State getting in aren't complaining now. Baylor and/or TCU weren't getting in ahead of an undefeated defending champion FSU or a one loss Oregon or Alabama team

Tcu would have won it all this year. So glad they didn't get in. Next year frog loses at ou and maybe Minnesota. They will be close but don't win it in 15. Oregon is going to get it yet.

the powers that be won't think they didn't get in because no playoff. They think they didn't get in because options were small church schools. That should be all we need to know that we will never get the nod form the big 12 - and we need to start inviting other conferences (Pac, Big and AAC) into Dallas for our OOC to start creating some love for a conference school in N Texas.

I don't think TCU would have won it all this year ... just MO. I don't think they beat Alabama, OSU, or the UO team that beat FSU. Art has his philosophy of his OC ... always has. Did it cost him ... talking heads say it did, as do many. OSU loses to WI in the Big10, TCU or Baylor is in IMO. Because Big12 declared co-champs ... probably TCU.

Art is one of those guys who historically buys into the win early win often ... and that builds a winning mind-set, confidence and momentum. A lot of guys did not so long ago. If BU does it again in 2015 (1 loss, Big 12 Champ .. 3 years straight ... winning the Big12 is legit), IMO they will get a shot. I think in the near future the playoff expands to 6 or 8. With 6, top two seeds get a 1st round bye. With 8, I would love to see the top G5 (maybe even 2) get in the mix. So, we could see F-balls version of Butler play in the final once in awhile. But, 6-8 ... TCU and Baylor get in ... unless of course the powers spike the punch.

Lets see:

1) Turn a program around to a consistent winner and relevance
2) Get top rated classes to come
3) Heisman trophy winner
4) Win the Big 12 ... twice
5) Play in BCS bowls
6) Facilities and fan support off the charts now

I hope to [deleted] about that in a few years with CM and staff.
