Nothing like a traditional rival game at Homecoming!

What's the old saying when scheduling OOC games? Schedule a team you will beat, one you should beat and one, maybe you could beat. Or something like that

This one looks like Montana State all over again, except we can't rely on Garrett Gilbert's heroics this time.

I guess the band is already working on the Hello Dolly half time theme.

Eh. We play Baylor and TCU, who should whip us, and UNT, who will be a toss-up IMHO, so a gimme isn't a horrible thing at this point.

But we better win that thing, I'll say that.

Best chance for a September win since we played Montana State in 2013

I wouldn't call any game a gimme after last season...

The Dukes won't be a gimme. They pull off upsets of FBS teams fairly regularly. I remember about four or five years ago they beat a top 15 Va Tech team in Blacksburg.

We will win.

And going back to 1995 (D-1AA records are surprisingly hard to find) Va. Tech several years ago is the only D-1A school of note they've beaten. Beat a couple of in-transition D-1AA teams.

With the mess June left CCM even that game might be tough to win.

the FCS schools within a 250 mile radius who mightve brought more than a couple dozen friends & family were all booked up?
