I remember when they honored Cash. About 7 years ago I would guess.

Think it may have been further back than that. I thought it was pre-June

I started to say 10 and then figured I was maybe going back too far. But I was there when they did it.

I thought ... was hoping they would continue with the JL charity golf outing. I know (or thought), it was tied to JJ's inner city mission deal. Certainly we can come up with another benefactor for the event. I remember hearing Vic Salvino say he was going to take it over next year (meaning this year) and underwrite the whole thing again out at Stonebriar CC.

Huh...I remember Jerry Kovar wearing 37 during my days at SMU. Great blocking back, Kovar.

Again, they retire jerseys, not numbers. I do believe they have not used 37 for a while however. It was my practice number. Sleepy Morgan called me The Doaker. But I switched to 39 for games.
