I was/(am?) Greek, and agree renting bars is common. I was referring to the potential difficulty of doing it "by the book," so to speak, and getting the necessary approvals for an event that would coincide with the Boulevard time.

gotcha. Very good point I hadn't considered that. yes I agree with you, it would be harder. Especially because the point of it would be for the school to know the greeks were boycotting.
