Is 2015 the best class of receiver recruits since the DP?

Just put this out there for a point of discussion. It seems Xavier Castille, Kevin Thomas, James Proche, and Alex Honey could be one of the best if not the best receiver classes since the DP. I believe the potential is there. And Coach Morris only had a couple of months to recruit. The future looks bright at that position.

i would say yes, although of course the proof is in the pudding. THe early group June had that Bennett recruited as very strong also.

The lineup of Darius Johnson, Cole Beasley, Aldrick Robinson, and Emmanuel Sanders represents four NFL wideouts. That's pretty stout.

Yeah, you don't see all four starters end up in the NFL very often.

I was talking about the best recruiting class not best staring team. Johnson, Beasley, and Sanders were all in different recruiting classes. I have edited the title to more accurately reflect the question I was asking. The poll is strictly talking about the 2015 class vs other individual classes.

I saw alex honey for the first time today, and to me he looks even taller than advertised.

Gaines and Sutton are absolutely legit in the current group.

Yeah if that is the criteria then it is runaway that the 2015 WR crop is the best post death penalty.

Xavier Castille - OK State, Washington, Kansas, Houston, UCONN, Memphis, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Texas State, Tulsa, UTEP, UL-Monroe

Kevin Thomas - Clemson, Kansas, Bowling Green, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, San Diego State, Toledo, Wake Forest, Wisconsin

James Proche - Colorado State, Houston, Louisville, Maryland, UNT, TCU, Texas State, Tulsa, Wake Forest

Alex Honey - UNT, Air Force, UL-Monroe, Texas State

Myron Gailliard - Memphis, New Mexico, Colorado State

That is exactly what I was talking about.

I think Vincent Chase, a PB recruit, had more quality offers than all the above combined.

One guy with multiple P5 offers <<<<<<< 3 guys with multiple P5 offers.

Also, Jeremiah Gaines had about 10-12 P5 offers.

I'm tired of Turtle mooching off of Vince.

LSU were NCs & OU ranked #3 the year they both offered Vincent Chase. Florida, another school that offered, won 2 NCs during Vincent's time @ SMU, so he's probably the most highly recruited player post DP in terms of quality offers.

I think Gaines also makes Top 5, Stallion should give us his list of Top 10 post DP.

As far as the overall class is concerned I would think the 2015 class would be one of the best if not the best because they have more than just one or two receivers that are highly regarded.

The 2015 receiver class is outstanding imo.
