Saw a tweet that a wide out from UAB was at practice this morning. Anyone know anything about him?

50% of the time he touches the ball, he scores a TD.

true, but this extrapolates to 4 catches and 2 TD's for a full season.

I'll take what we have.

He has an offer to come in and play immediately. Maybe he was hurt in 2014. Apparently, the coaches think we need more than what we have. Not a comforting thought.

But not surprising, either. I know we are all caught up in the HCCM enthusiasm, and he and the staff are publically putting a brave face on things. . .but my expectations for next year are low. It will take a couple of years to really ramp this up.

We have UAB's former special teams coach, which had a great year last year performance wise, maybe he sees this guy as a return man?

How many members of the SMU squad have caught anything like that against SEC competition?

Do we really want to bag on a kid for riding the pine his freshman year?
- Our best WR, Sutton, had 2 catches for 27 yards last season.
- Gaines - 4 catches for 97 yards
- Holleman - he has 3 catches in 4 years (To be fair, he did sit out 2014).
