Based on this article Beachum is about to get paid. Really happy for a great guy.

He has made amazing strides as a professional.

Whoa...I didn't realize he was that good. Also, you almost never see 6'3" left tackles in the NFL anymore. Impressive.

With his height it is even more impressive. How is his relationship with SMU FB and HCCM?

Not to bring up the JJ era, but coach McKnight was a HUGE Beach fan and supporter in the early days and would use him as the example of "How To" for all the OL to follow. A really good guy, who relies on brains and technique more then anything ... he was never the strongest or quickest. I think he is a real good example for young guys, and represents SMU and the small town of Mexia well. I would not be surprised to see him in politics when his playing days are over.
