New Miami MLS team looking to partner with the University of Miami on a new stadium. "Miami is therefore looking for a venue that can hold 40,000 to 44,000 fans, according to the Herald, while the MLS and Beckham's group prefer one that seats approximately 25,000 patrons." Sun Life Stadium currently seats 65k.

Given Miami is a P5 private school in a major metro I thought this was interesting for comparison. Also gives people a break from which new school SMU's QB recruit is tweeting with now

Watching on TV is better than being at the game nowadays. Not surprising...stadiums of the future will be more intimate and have more luxury/premium seating. Sitting on bleachers in the fourth deck just isnt appealing anymore

Was wondering about that....Miami seems stretched pretty thin right now after paying for Marlins Park and the renovation to Dolphins stadium
