It's not like we are having the National Champs come in here anytime soon (aka MoodyMadness).

When was the last time the football Nat. Champ played a game at SMU anyway? (not including SMU, the 1982 champ).

That's a great question and my bet would be the 2 DKR's UT teams of the 1960's. Now did we play them the year they won in the Cotton Bowl or in Austin I dunno.

OK, I looked it up. Loss 45-14 in the Cotton Bowl in 1969, the year UT went 11-0 and defeated ND in the Cotton Bowl.

Went from 2 to 4 tickets this year. Can't wait. I haven't been this excited for an SMU football season since I started following the program back in 2001. I know this year will be a bit of a struggle but I can't wait to see a team that plays with passion, energy, and as our coach says "a relentless YOU GOTTA KILL ME TO BEAT ME attitude". That team is worth my time and effort. Hope that you are all encouraging your fellow SMU alums/friends that they should come check us out in the fall.

Have purchased 4 season tickets for the last 4 years my daughter went to SMU. Enjoyed my time and have continued my seats again. My daughter will be in grad school at UT and will make the drive with me for the weekend home games.
