Great interview. Hyder and Brown are definitely going to be in the mix, as well as the frosh tackle at RT. Hyder and Brown might start at guard with Lasecki back at center.

The 8 guys he takes after 2 weeks are pretty easy to figure out IMHO: Barns, Lasecki, Brown, Wilds, McCarty, Briggs, Hyder, Weeks. One extra tackle, 1 extra guard and a swing center/guard.

What makes you think Lasecki goes back to center? He sounds pretty excited about Barns.

Also interesting that you can see Hyder and Brown starting. He's positive about their potential, but neither has had a single practice under Fry. I don't think he's writing them off, but didn't come away from this interview with the idea that they'll start. What makes you think that?

Love his honesty about players who are not committed to the program and the sport won't be around for long.

I think based upon last year, Evan Brown performed really well for a true freshman, being thrown into a situation he should't have been in. He is physically much stronger than McCarty. We really don't have many options.

He is familiar with Brown, even though Brown didn't practice in the spring, because they recruited Brown to Clemson.
