So we have a giant wishlist but no funding? Sounds like my wife's christmas list :) I guess thats why our slogan is pony up!

What do we need? 20mil? 100mil? I would increase my meager mc donation if I knew it was going to that and not padlocks for our tennis center.

No, the IPF went from 10 million to 100 million and quite a bit of that has been raised. It is going to be a bad [deleted] facility.

And i am sure it is going to be scaled back a bit. The price tag is shocking. We can get this done for 50-60 million. We can start by scaling it back and junking the track - we don't need an indoor track.

But we do need a party pavilion in the north end zone.

You need a track if you blow up the existing one. Or you could go the opposite route of tcu/baylor and totally ignore track...wait, already did that...

just do a track on the east side. no need to do an indoor twice the size we need it for a team we don't have.

Someone has to have some extra money sitting around. Screw scaling back, lets go over the top

I had dinner back in June with one of the Athletics Giving Dept. people and asked about the IPF, poking around to see how they were fundraising for it and if people could give directly for that cause. I was suprised that the answer was there wasn't a coordinated fundraising plan yet for it, but told one was coming soon...so maybe this fall.

As much as HCM has prioritized this I would have thought we would have had a more coordinated fundraising plan by this point.

The IPF funding discussion sounds too similar to the lack of information about a new Natatorium.

:(

I was at SMU over the 4th of July Holiday. There is now no evidence that there was a Natatorium (or ever will be).

If you can win conference championships with no facility, why build one? I don't agree with my own statement here but it's probably what people with no ties to the sport(s) think.
